Baby & Child Sleep Consulting Services

1. Scope of Services

The Consultant provides personalised, evidence-based sleep support services for babies and children. Services may include digital resources, personalised sleep plans, in-home consultations, and overnight home consultations.

Each service includes a defined follow-up support period, which is included in the service price and is not offered separately:

  • Personalised Sleep Plan: two (2) weeks of follow-up support

  • In-Home Consultation: one (1) week of follow-up support

  • Overnight Home Consultation: one (1) week of follow-up support

Follow-up support is provided for guidance, reassurance, and minor adjustments related to the agreed sleep plan during the stated support period.

All services are educational and supportive in nature.
The Consultant does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Clients are advised to consult a licensed healthcare professional for any medical concerns.

2. Service Delivery & Availability

Services may be delivered virtually or in-home, depending on the service selected.

The Consultant offers a limited number of bookings each week to ensure high-quality, personalised support. Availability is not guaranteed and bookings are confirmed only once all required booking steps have been completed.

The Consultant reserves the right to decline or discontinue services where delivery is not appropriate or feasible.

3. International Availability

Services are available to clients worldwide, subject to applicable laws and regulations in the client’s jurisdiction.

The Consultant reserves the right to decline services where local laws or restrictions prevent delivery.

4. Payment Terms

Services

Payment options for services may include:

  • Full payment at the time of booking, or

  • Instalment payments, where offered

If a client chooses to pay for a service via instalments:

  • Instalments do not need to be completed before the appointment or before work begins

  • Clients must successfully set up the instalment payment plan using the payment link provided in the booking confirmation email

  • Failure to set up the instalment plan may result in delays to service delivery

By confirming a booking, the client agrees to pay the total service fee, regardless of whether payment is made upfront or spread across instalments.

If an instalment payment plan is cancelled or interrupted before all payments are completed:

  • The remaining balance becomes immediately payable

  • The Consultant reserves the right to issue an invoice for the outstanding amount

  • Access to further support or materials may be paused until payment is resolved

Digital Products

Instalment payment options are not available for digital products.

Digital products, including the Newborn Sleep Guide, must be paid in full at the time of purchase. The PDF document will be delivered only once full payment has been successfully received.

Prices are listed in the currency displayed on the website at the time of purchase and may change without notice.

5. Refund Policy

If, following assessment, the Consultant determines that sleep support is not appropriate due to an underlying medical condition or factors outside the Consultant’s scope of practice, a full refund will be issued.

Refunds are not otherwise available once services have commenced, except where required under applicable consumer protection laws.

Digital products are non-refundable once delivered.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their child’s health and sleep history. Failure to disclose relevant information may void eligibility for a refund.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information regarding their child’s health, sleep environment, and routines.

Implementation of recommendations is always at the client’s discretion. The Consultant cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as results vary depending on individual circumstances, developmental factors, and consistency of application.

Clients acknowledge that progress requires active participation and engagement with the agreed recommendations.

7. Support Period & Boundaries

Support is provided only within the support period associated with the purchased service.

Support:

  • Begins on the agreed start date or following the consultation

  • Ends automatically at the conclusion of the stated support period

Requests for assistance outside the included support period may require a new booking or additional service.

Support does not include emergency assistance, medical advice, or ongoing support beyond the agreed timeframe.

8. Liability Disclaimer

The Consultant shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of services.

Services are provided “as is” for educational purposes only.

The Consultant is not responsible for outcomes where recommendations are not followed or where external factors (including medical or developmental conditions) influence results.

Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Consultant’s Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
